Kapa Lo Dumo is inspired by all that Cape Town has to offer, particularly the night life, invoking the saying “What happens in Cape Town, stays in Cape Town”. Hence the term Kapa Lo Dumo (Infamous Cape Town) = (naughty Cape Town). The term itself is a street lingo by outsiders. Meaning, it is a term that is used in all other provinces in South Africa but Capetonians seems not to know about it term.
